If I decide to sponsor an event, what are the parameters?

Breakfast Sponsor ($50 – quarterly, four available)

Treat attendees to their first cup of coffee, a bite to eat and help them get their day off to the right start. Opportunity to give brief welcome remarks during the breakfast. Opportunity to place promotional items on each seat. Premier placement of company logo at breakfast area. Logo prominently displayed in meeting room. Recognition as Sponsor in all references to the Quarterly Breakfast as well as on event materials, website and marketing materials.

Educational Forum Sponsor ($500.00)

Recognition as a sponsor in all references to the Forum as well as on all event materials, participant packages, website and marketing materials, and company logo features on homepage. Presence in all e-newsletters and media releases leading up to the monthly event. Opportunity to give brief welcome remarks. Opportunity to place promotional items on each seat. Premier placement of company logo at meeting area. Logo prominently displayed in meeting room. Opportunity to provide a brochure and one promotional item to attendees. Waived registration fee for 2 company representatives each year. Quarter-page advertisement and sponsor description in participant materials (Market Place, etc.)

Diamond Sponsor ($1500.00)

Branded as Title Sponsor in all references to the SSBI as well as on all event materials, website and marketing materials. Company will be recognized as the title sponsor in all media releases. Opportunity to address and welcome attendees during all sessions of the Educational Forums, Networking Events and TGIFs. Opportunity to provide a brochure and two promotional items to attendees. Waived registration free for 6 company representatives each year of sponsorship. Full-page advertisement and sponsor description in participant materials (Market Place, etc.)

What are the costs for being a part of the incubator? Are the SSBI programs and membership included?

As a member of the incubator, you receive desk space, use of office equipment (telephone, fax, Internet, etc.). All benefits of SSBI members apply as well as having access to administrative support services and the utilization of experts such as lawyers, accountants, business coaches, and others on a regular, walk-in basis. Cost for this program is $300 a month (no additional SSBI membership fees required).


What are the costs for meetings?

Depending on the venue, the following may be used as a guideline: Meetings cost nothing for paid members. (When we start having breakfast meetings, you will pay for your own breakfast. For non-members there will be a $5 entrance cost as well as their food.) For Educational Forums/networking, the cost for members is $0. For non-members there is a $15 entrance fee. The Mastermind Groups are ONLY available to members and the cost is $0.


I am afraid that everyone will try to sell to me, when it is sales that I want.

Members are advised not to expect to gain sales from other members. Relationship building is having others help promote your product and potentially identify future customers for you, as well as strategic planning.


Money is tight and I cannot afford $150.

What happens if I cannot attend all the meetings?

Members are not penalized for not attending meetings, however, the more you attend, the more contacts you make and the more benefits you will attract. There are several meetings of different sorts (mixer, executive and leadership forums, and Insights boards) that take place each month. You will meet different people when you attend meetings held at different times, so don’t restrict yourself to just the forums or just evening mixers. The effort will pay for itself.


What happens if I join and my sales do not improve?

If you are totally dissatisfied with your membership, our 100% guarantee means that we will refund your money. However, we would recommend that you revisit suggestions made in White Papers, and form alliances with other members.


May I attend a meeting prior to joining?

Yes. You may attend any 3 of our open meetings, prior to joining.


How much does it cost to join The Strategic Small Business Initiative?

Annual Membership -- $150.00;Temporary Membership -- $40.00 (attend four SSBI Events); Life-time membership -- $750.00 (no further membership fees to be paid); student membership -- $100.
